What's the difference between bacteriostatic and sterile water?

Bacteriostatic water contains 0.9% benzyl alcohol, a preservative that inhibits bacterial growth and lets a sealed vial be accessed repeatedly — typically for up to 28 days. Sterile water is preservative-free and intended for a single withdrawal and discard.

How long can I use a multi-dose vial after opening?

Once the stopper is first punctured, a bacteriostatic multi-dose vial is generally used for up to 28 days when refrigerated (2–8°C) and handled aseptically. Wipe the stopper with an alcohol swab before each withdrawal. Preservative-free sterile water should be used once and discarded.

How is sterility verified?

Every product is a genuine, factory-sealed Pfizer or Hospira vial, manufactured under pharmaceutical GMP and 0.22µm sterile-filtered. Market-leading brands, supplied as the manufacturer's own product — never repackaged.

How quickly will my order ship?
